The film adds a protective layer that prevents scratches to the outer rear roll bar. Ford has issued a TSB concerning the top frame contacting the roll bar and causing a paint issue. Even if your vehicle has the added felt on the top frame by Ford we have found our PPF film to be the best way to ensure your paint is protected. The kit includes a small squeegee for easy installation.
